Frequently asked questions

Life insurance is a financial product that, in exchange for a premium paid monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually, guarantees payment of an agreed sum to named beneficiaries if the insured person dies or becomes totally and permanently disabled. It provides financial protection for your family against unexpected events.

Life insurance provides financial security for you and your loved ones. It helps protect your family from lost income, cover outstanding debts such as bank loans, guarantee your children's education and leave assets that protect their future.

The cost depends on the type of insurance chosen, the sum insured, the insured person's age and circumstances, and the policy term. There are no fixed amounts or imposed contributions — we tailor each policy to your circumstances. Contact us for a non-binding proposal.

VidaSEguros EG operates under the applicable legislation in Equatorial Guinea, strictly complying with the insurance sector's rules and regulations. Supervisory bodies oversee compliance with all commitments made to our policyholders.

VidaSEguros EG, S.A. is a private company. We are Equatorial Guinea's first and only national company specialising in life insurance and savings insurance.

Only when the requested sum insured exceeds XAF 10,000,000 or the insured person is over 55. In all other cases, the process is completed with a simple medical declaration form, without additional tests.

Life insurance policies are generally long-term, with a minimum of one year. The exception is insurance linked to bank loans, which may run for less than one year — matching the loan repayment term.
