On 29 January 2024, BGFIBank Equatorial Guinea formalised its membership of VidaSEguros EG's partner banking network by signing a credit insurance agreement. BGFIBank, one of Central Africa's most prestigious and longest-established financial institutions, thus became the third bank to join the programme, at a ceremony attended by senior executives from both organisations in Malabo.

Its presence in Equatorial Guinea spans business financing and personal loans, giving this agreement a direct impact on a large number of clients. BGFIBank's inclusion is a significant milestone for VidaSEguros EG, consolidating its position as a leading insurer in the national market.
Under the agreement, all BGFIBank borrowers can benefit from insurance that guarantees payment of the outstanding balance in the event of death or total and permanent disability. Borrowers' families are thus protected from the burden of a debt they could not have anticipated. The insurance is seamlessly integrated into the lending process, making the customer experience as simple as possible.
